Dear Participant,
Here is your “Bike For Life” information. If you have any questions after reading this, please call Sandy LaVersa, 207-499-2338.
Reminder: You cannot participate without your "General Waiver and Release Form" that was included with the information pack that was mailed to you. Please mail it in by October 1 or bring it with you to registration the day of the ride. Your pledges can be mailed in with the waiver to the address on your pledge sheet or you can turn them in at registration. But, we must have your pledges before the ride begins.
This event will help a little nine-year-old girl, Bryanna Bryce from Limerick, Maine. She needs a kidney transplant. We gave her a small grant already, but the family needs quite a bit of money for the father to take off work for 3 months to have surgery himself to supply his daughter with his kidney. He is self-employed, with no insurance and has four other children at home. You are one of the guardian angels that can help this family through their crisis. We appreciate the time you are giving up to help another. Thank you!
WHERE:The ride will take place along the southern side of Sebago Lake. Maps of the route will be given out the day of the event. We have enclosed a map with directions to our starting point. The starting point is Johnson Athletic Field near the junction of Rt. 35/114 in Standish, ME. We will have our banner up. Allow yourself enough time to find the park, get registered and prepare your bike for the ride. There will be parking for your vehicle at Johnson Field. TIME: Registration begins at 7:00 am. The ride starts at 8:30 am. For safety reasons you will not be able to participate as a rider, once all the ground crew has left the starting point. We will have you help on our ground crew at this point. So, please be prompt if you a are determined to ride!
