2004 Spring Ball

March 27, 2004 at the Fairmont Copley Plaza-Boston

The Weber Foundation of Helping Hands came out again to support local families, children and senior citizens in need during its third Annual Spring Ball on March 27, 2004 at the Fairmont Copley Plaza-Boston. More than 400 attended the event to raise money for the foundation.  We are excited that over $185,000 was raised.  During the evening, Elizabeth presented 12 new grants totaling nearly $60,000.

In dedication to Elizabeth Weber’s father who recently passed away, two new programs have been set up in honor of her father’s commitment to his family and his community. It will be called the “The Weber Foundation Harold F. Nice Fund” in memory of Harold F. Nice. This fund will be sponsoring two new projects – The Somerville Housing Authority, and Friends of Malden Seniors. Governor Mitt Romney, Lt. Governor Kerry Healey along with the Chairman of the Republican Party Darrell Crate, donated $10,000 in support of the “The Weber Foundation Harold F. Nice Fund”.
